Capheaton is a traditional rural Estate in the heart of Northumberland. Our family and many of the families living and working on the place have been here for generations. Not a lot has changed here since the house and village were built between 1666 and 1760, but we have never rested on our laurels and always welcomed anyone that is passing.
We are incredibly lucky to live and work in such a wonderful place and this site goes some way to explaining what we offer and how we operate.
As a traditional Estate, much of our work is the maintenance of our woods and habitats as well as farming. We are gardeners and so anyone with a love for the horticultural will enjoy how we struggle (on top of a hill in Northumberland) to create a beautiful and productive garden at Capheaton Hall.
