We absolutely loved every moment of the day, and so much of that is down to Louise. From the very beginning she just got us, and her warmth, reassurance and proactive communication made the whole process such a joy. Capheaton was everything we dreamed of and more - the timing couldn’t have been more perfect. The rhododendrons have caused quite a stir among our friends, and the alliums popping out just in time felt like such a magical touch.

We feel incredibly privileged to have celebrated in Willy and Eliza’s beautiful home and grounds. They were so wonderfully welcoming of us into what is such a personal and private space, and the way they interacted with us in the run to our wedding put us completely at ease - there was never a moment of stress or worry. They seemed so genuinely happy for people to be there appreciating their home, and that warmth came through in everything.

The West Wing and the cottages were the perfect base for the whole weekend. It made for an incredible getting ready space - so much room and beautiful natural light. And waking up the morning after surrounded by our closest guests, cooking breakfast together and then wandering back out into the grounds and the marquee to relive it all - that was something really special that we hadn’t quite anticipated. It extended the magic of the day in the most wonderful way.

We are so grateful that we chose Capheaton Hall as our wedding venue. From the house, to the scenery that surrounds it, to the team at Capheaton, everything was incredible. This venue truly is unique to the North East. Your day is completely customisable as there are no packages. You're free to create a wedding that is truly personal to you as a couple.

One of the reasons we love living in the North East is Northumberland, which made Capheaton Hall an ideal location for celebrating our wedding. The scenery is beautiful and no pictures from our day can really capture how stunning it was to be there in person. It was lovely to have lots of spaces for the guests to be in from the house, to the marquee to wandering in the gardens.

The team at Capheaton were amazing and were such a huge help in the run up to the wedding and on the day. It was so helpful to have their support in what was such an important day for us, and we know that they were fully behind us. We cannot recommend Capheaton Hall highly enough!

Capheaton Hall cast a spell on us from our very first visit. Over the next 12 months we thought long and hard about the type of wedding we wanted and what felt right for us but in the end, there was no way we could have chosen anywhere else. Capheaton Hall is a piece of paradise that leaves a lasting impression on everyone who is lucky enough to visit. We are so privileged to have been able to wed there and grateful to Willy, Eliza, Louise, Anna and the whole team for opening up their home to us. Planning a wedding can quite easily seem like an overwhelming, impersonal industry but Capheaton gives couples the opportunity to create the celebration they really want. For anyone who is looking to enjoy the planning as much as the day itself, look no further. The Hall and the grounds are an exquisite setting in Northumberland and the opportunity to celebrate such a happy occasion there could not be more special

Patrick and I are so glad that we chose Capheaton for our wedding, especially as the family were so accommodating during the pandemic. We enjoyed being able to add our personal touch to the venue, and we were provided with a lot of flexibility and support so that we could still have the big day that we wanted. Willy, Eliza and Louise were all really helpful, and hands on, which made it feel more personal. We are very grateful for all your help, and for being able to celebrate in such a beautiful setting!

There was a good amount of meetings before the wedding which meant we felt organised and on top of things. On the day Louise and Anna were always there to check things were getting done and we were where we were meant to be.

I would definitely recommend a wedding at Capheaton Hall. The setting is perfect and you receive so much help from the wedding coordinators that you feel totally calm and well organised. On the day they are fantastic at keeping you right and they go out of their way to help.

Capheaton Hall is an ideal wedding venue. Not short of 'wow' factor, the house is picturesque and atmospheric. There are so many locations with different character to enjoy, from the ruined chapel for romantic photographs to the magnificent reception hall where we hosted afternoon tea, and the sweeping lawns where we pitched the tipi. Working with a flexible and professional team, we were able to design and personalise our perfect 'big day'.
