Overlooking Sir Edward’s Lake in Capheaton, Northumberland, this is the first of three new cottages in one of Northumberland’s most picturesque and peaceful locations. This end-terraced cottage is called ‘Edward’ and is part of a spectacular conversion of a line of the earliest built cottages in the village. Externally the cottages all retain their original frontages but have been converted to the rear to provide warm, modern and spacious accommodation.

Edward has one spacious double bedroom, complete with enormous copper bathtub, and door opening to the patio area.  Cosy living room with wood burning stove and kitchen dining room with fabulous views to the rear of the cottage.

You can book all of our properties together if you are planning a trip with friends or family.

You are welcome to enjoy walks around the Lake, or come and see the gardens at the Hall.
There may occasionally be private functions and events at the Hall so it is probably wise to check with the Estate Office at the time of booking.
